YBL Presented By AGEIST: A Conference To Explore Economic and Social Impact of 50+ Demographic

LOS ANGELES—May 9, 2019—AGEIST (weareageist.com), a media company and agency that is changing how we envision, understand and live life after 50, will host its inaugural live experience, YBL (Your Best Life) in Los Angeles on June 11, 2019.  An impressive lineup of keynote speakers and panelists representing start-ups, iconic brands and business leaders, and forward-thinking consumers will gather in an intimate setting for thought-provoking discussions and networking sessions to explore the significant economic and social impact of Generation 5.0.

Today’s over-50 is carving a very different path from previous generations and is essentially redefining how life after 50 is lived and experienced. Brands, companies and organizations need to understand what is driving this cohort. YBL, a first-of-it’s-kind symposium (https://www.ageist.com/ybl/) will examine the how and why of these monumental changes—backed-up by proprietary new market intelligence—and what it means for both consumers and brands.

“There’s a real poverty of imagination when it comes to this intensely influential group,” commented AGEIST founder David Stewart. “Let’s stop with the idea that cool stops at some age. We are at the peak of our capabilities. We are bold, vital, empowered and living our best lives now. Those silver-haired couples dressed in pastels and strolling along the beach at sunset don’t represent the aspirations of today’s highly energized 50+. We developed YBL to unpack the facts around what this shifting paradigm means for us and the people and brands that want to speak to us.”

YBL attendees will gain extensive insight, from distinguished experts (list below), into what FastCompany called “the most significant demographic shift in recent history.”

In addition, the day will include networking opportunities with presenters and like-minded fellow attendees. Lunch will be catered and the day will conclude with a twilight reception featuring handcrafted cocktails, passed bites, and a conversation-friendly DJ set.

YBL is the brainchild of AGEIST founder David Stewart and John Loken, founder of The Experience Factory.

Registration for YBL is available at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ageist-presents-your-best-life-ybl-registration-59347394655. Early Bird Passes were offered at $195 and immediately sold out, but a limited number of Standard Passes are still available for $295. VIP Passes will soon go on sale, allowing access to an exclusive Speakers Reception on Monday June 10, preferred seating at all panels, green room access at Valentine DTLA, and a commemorative YBL bracelet from The Giving Keys.
