Lynn Power: Superstar Ad Exec Quits, Starts Inspired Hair Care Company

In her 50s, Lynn Power pivoted from CEO of a large ad agency to entrepreneur, starting her Japanese-formulated natural hair care company MASAMI.  With humor and grace, she tells David about the ageism she experienced when looking for investors, the importance of diversity in any company, and the secret to making hair care products that are hydrating yet light.

“This investor, who is probably about 65 by the way…interrupted Bill and said, ‘How old is she?’ And Bill said…’She’s 51’ and he literally said, ‘Nope. It will never work. She’s too old.’”
