Rewild & Restore: An Invitation Into the Senses, and the Wild Beauty of an Unspoiled Greek Island

Join our travel editor Patricia for morning swims, ritual, and some luxurious rewilding this September. A time to reset, eat beautifully, sharpen your senses, and connect to the wild beauty of an unspoiled Greek island. This exclusive, seven day experience in the Small Cyclades is dedicated to rejuvenating your body, mind and soul.

As the travel editor of Ageist, I know I can speak for many when I say that it feels so good that we can be out in the world and travel again. I’ve just returned from Greece, a place that nourishes my soul, feeds my sense of adventure, and rekindles my creative juices. Perhaps it’s the simplicity of the days, or the ability to stare endlessly into the Aegean, or the extra-salty morning swims, open-hearted hospitality, or the sensing of something ancient and untamable. Greece is life-affirming in ways that always surprise me.

The gift of this trip: crafting all the magical details of Rewild & Restore, a rejuvenating and soul-feeding experience on the Aegean that you are invited to join this September. Inspired by the difference my morning swims have made for me (and to others who have asked me to introduce them to the water), the countless shape-shifting blues of the Aegean, and the hospitality of my dear friend who calls this island home, I invite you to come get salty with us. Our inaugural run will be small, spacious and extra-special.

The days…You will experience morning swim rituals in some of the most splendid, nourishing water I have ever been in, delicious farm (and sea) to table meals, restorative movement, the scent of lemon and fig trees, the sound of Greek birds singing, and a secret adventure on the Aegean. Everything is optional, of course; R&R is about filling up, not about exhausting.

The setting…Rewild & Restore 2021 takes place on an unspoiled island in the Small Cyclades, which casts a spell that is languid and lingering. Here, time moves differently than in other places; not in a straight line, but through the senses. Your home rests in a garden of lemon and fig trees, luxuriously gazing at Keros, a sacred island that has inspired artists such as Brancusi and Barbara Hepworth, and is considered as historically significant as Delos, the holiest sanctuary to Apollo.

In a nutshell, I have created my dream un-retreat. The experience I would want, on an island I love, with meals and experiences that make me feel alive, nourished and vital.
