    Primal Pit Paste

We would not normally do an entire article on something as mundane as non-chemical deodorant, but this product merits it. We bought this product directly from their web site with very low expectations. The goal was to find a deodorant/ antiperspirant that did not contain hormone-disrupting aluminum salts. There are a number of these sort of natural products available, but in our experience, none of them work well.

This stuff is different. We chose strength #2, out of a range of 1-3. In a 24-hour time period, that included an hour of weight training in the gym, it worked amazingly well—as well or better than standard anti-perspirant products. The application is a bit odd: take a small pea-sized morsel and rub it into the pit. After the first time, it becomes routine.

There is a tremendous amount of hormone disrupting and all around nasty products in our day to day lives. Our approach is to whittle them away. First the home-cleaning products, then the ongoing challenge of food, and finally the products we apply directly to our skin.
