    David Harry Stewart

    Founder & CEO

    David is the founder and face of the AGEIST. He is a passionate champion and leading authority on the modern 50+ lifestyle, and the mindset and aspirations that drive this influential demographic. He is called upon frequently to share his expertise and insight at important venues and forums around the world. Recent speaking engagements include HIMSS in Las Vegas, the leading conference for health information and technology; TEDx, on Redefining Age; MONOCLE Quality of Life Conference in Zurich; Mercedes Benz ME Convention in Stockholm, Rise and Thrive in Los Angeles, The AGEIST YBL conference in Los Angeles. He will keynote at SMASH in Las Vegas Sept 2019 and also keynote at The Global Wellness Summit in Singapore October 2019. Prior to launching AGEIST, Stewart enjoyed an award-winning career as a photographer specializing in people-oriented advertising that combined his engineer’s precision with a high level of design and visual aesthetic. His work for iconic brands including Nike, Adidas, Google, Coors, AT&T, Coke, Philip Morris, Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Corona, Gillette, Philips, Johnson & Johnson, Red Bull and many more has appeared in GQ, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, Wired, Interview, Time, The New York Times Magazine, and other outlets.     Jack Phan

    CTO

    Jack is an innovator and visionary entrepreneur with 20+ years developing businesses in lead generation, affiliate marketing, and digital media publishers. He founded several startups with multiple successful exits as founder, investor and advisor. He has deep experience in business development, technology, product development, marketing and operations, leading one of his companies to rank #187 in Inc 500's Fastest Growing Companies of 2007, later selling to Bay Area company Quinstreet (NASDAQ: QNST). In addition to being Chief Technologist of AGEIST, Jack is the CEO of PhanZu, an online media consulting agency. Jack has held roles as President & COO of Money Crashers and previously served as Vice President/EIR at Digital Trends where he helped to scale the company to the #1 private tech media company in the world. Jack has been instrumental to the on-going build out at AGEIST.

    Paul Hynek

    CFO

    Paul Hynek has decades of successful experience in finance, technology, entertainment. Paul is a Wharton MBA, an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Accounting at Pepperdine University, and the creator of startup financial projections software that has raised over $1 billion for thousands and startups. He has significant executive, software, and high tech experience in the US, Europe, and Asia. Paul is a sought-after speaker, having emceed, keynoted, moderated, and spoken at South by Southwest, Wharton / Penn, Harvard, Mensa, BIL, Brink, and numerous technology and startup conferences and events. He’s a grant reviewer for the National Science Foundation.

    Colleen Scholer

    Vice President, Brand Insight and Strategy

    Colleen is a growing-trend seeker who develops brand strategy based on data insights. She keeps a good eye and ear on the age-positive consumer and their impact that swirls around us. Her decades of successful experience in research, marketing communications, and media relations have been shared with major brands and top leaders. She believes business development is built on good working relationships, as doors open to new client opportunities and positive work style fills the room.

    Ann Marie MacDougall

    Director of Partnerships

    Ann Marie is a consultive sales leader with extensive experience in digital marketing and advertising. She has worked on staffs at established brands as well as start ups including Men’s Health, Warner Bros., Elle, TotalBeauty.com, RealAge, Lifescript and TextureMedia. The key to her success has been her proactive approach with clients along with her ability to package solutions for maximum engagement and ROI including branded content executions, social and influencer programs, custom research, lead generation, licensing, consumer sampling, event sponsorships and activations.

    Gaia Lutz

    Head Writer, content producer

    Gaia Lutz is originally from Brazil, and has been working as a journalist in London for the past five years. She has worked for Monocle Magazine and Radio in London where she wrote regularly, produced a weekly podcast interview series, and curated conferences and summits. Her word smithing skills, story telling abilities, along with the personal touch she brings to all her work, make her highly valued at AGEIST. She is now based in Lisbon where she continues to write and produce content for print, digital, broadcast and live platforms.

    Zachary Slobig

    Director of Research

    Zach is a born questioner, who comes to us from journalism, where he specialized in crafting authentic storytelling for social impact. His unique skill set is in utilizing data based research to craft a powerfully relatable story. He has worked on the staffs of NPR, WIRED, GOOD Magazine, and Agence-France Presse. As a narrative consultant he has collaborated with major brands, start ups, and foundations. He's a sucker for stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

    Patricia Garcia-Gomez

    Travel Editor

    Patricia Garcia-Gomez is a writer, photographer and artist. She has contributed to the Travel Channel and the Discovery Channel. Her work is also part of the archives of the Tate Modern, the Museum of Arts & Design in New York, the Buhl Collection, and The Harwood Museum in New Mexico.

    Courtney Roberts

    Brand Communications

    Courtney Roberts is our social media mastermind. She handles content strategy, planning, creation, and execution of our feeds and advises our clients on all matters social via market research, and micro-targeting. She is a stickler for details which in the world of brand communications is a massive plus. This makes her a great fit for the fast moving world of AGEIST, as she works well under pressure while staying focused on multiple in-house projects and client brand feeds. We particularly enjoy having her help manage our influencer relations, the brand ambassadors and influencers particular to our people. When she is not obsessively focused on our clients engagement numbers, she is living the outdoor life large, taking it for all she can get.

    Matt Hirst

    West SF & Co-Founder of AGEIST

    Matt started his career at The Futures Co. (WPP) as a researcher and analyst, both in London and New York. He then moved to Red Bull where he spent nearly a decade (first in London, then Los Angeles) working alongside athletes and cultural innovators to conceive, roll out and scale audacious, disruptive experiential content projects. From there he moved to Google where he spent time as their Global Head of Brand Experience. Today, living in San Francisco, he splits his time between roles as the co-founder of AGEIST, partner at West (a VC and technology consultancy) and being a father of two.

    Glen Chen

    Global Business Development Manager at Origin X Capital

    Glen started his career as a private equity and venture capital attorney at Paul Hastings in Los Angeles and Kirkland & Ellis in Hong Kong, and has closed over $5 billion in private investment transactions. Glen has broad experience in growing and scaling early stage companies through his combined legal and business background. Previously he led business development, sales and operations in California for NextSeed, a community-based financing and investment platform.

    Andreas Tzortzis

    Creative Director, Apple

    As AGEIST first editorial director, Andreas directed the verbal tone, wrote the profiles and curated our content during our first 3 years. He has worked as a journalist for the New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Newsweek and Monocle Magazine from Berlin and London before leading Red Bull’s mainstream-facing content platform, The Red Bulletin, from Los Angeles. He specializes in storytelling across multiple platforms – print, digital, video and podcasting – and building new audiences for brands through editorial content. He recently returned to his hometown of San Francisco with his small family.
